Join us for a public guided tour of Ayako Rokkaku’s exhibition Trails of Life in the Air at CICA Vancouver. Led by Annie Fang, CICA’s bilingual tour guide, this tour will invite audiences into an in-depth journey through Rokkaku’s vibrant artistic practice, her intuitive finger-painting process, and the dreamlike worlds that unfold across her works.
The tour will be conducted in English, with questions welcomed in both English and Mandarin. This program offers visitors an opportunity to engage more closely with the exhibition, gain deeper insight into the artist’s creative language, and experience the works through conversation and guided reflection.
✨ What makes this tour so special?
The tour will be led by Annie Fang

A talented youth student from CICA! Annie is currently a high-achieving Grade 11 student at an American high school. Through CICA Education’s exclusively designed “Art + Business Practice Project | Curatorial Assistant Course,” Annie has been working closely under the guidance of the CICA Vancouver professional curatorial team.
She has deeply participated in the planning, execution, and public education of Ayako Rokkaku’s exhibition, gaining hands-on experience with a major international art project. This opportunity has allowed her to develop invaluable real-world skills in communication, writing, project execution, and leadership.
As a Youth Curatorial Assistant, Annie will guide you through Ayako Rokkaku’s Canadian debut exhibition, Trails of Life in the Air, sharing her unique observations and insights on the artworks. We look forward to your enthusiastic participation—come out and support the growth and development of our youth students in a real-world, international art setting!
